The quality is largely determined by the number of threads per inch (TPI).
The higher the TPI, the better the rolling resistance and the smoother the tire.
And the less quickly you puncture!
Prices for a Pirelli superleggero and a Clement Criterium were around 1100bf (28 €) in the mid 1970s.

Alo, knappe website! Leuke items hier. Even iets opmerken over de tubes; het is niet Banetti maar Canetti. Heb daar zelf nog op gefietst. Sportieve groeten, Paulus.

De Pirelli en Clement kende ik van vroeger. Heb nog koers gereden met de clement criterium, was een dure investering in die tijd.
De canetti kende ik niet, wordt aangepast!
