Zullini, a Dutch-Italian connection. The Dutch firm (in Voorburg) van Herwerden had frames made at Zullo (his wife is from the Netherlands) and Chesini under the name Zullini. In the original catalogs of van Herwerden from the '70ies and the '80ies you can admire a lot of what we now call vintage 'stuff'. Among others the Super Strada.

Silvio Billato started after WWII as an apprentice in the tradition of framebuilding. He founded his own firm in 1962. On their current website son Roberto is writing that they made a lof of frames for other brands and teams such as Coppi, Bianchi, Concorde, Marin, Greg Lemond, Look and Fondriest. A family and a firm proud to be 'telaiste'!
